This Bellota shoulder comes from 100% Iberian breed pigs raised in the wild and fed on acorns, roots and grass.

Curing times are approximately 20 to 24 months. This shoulder has good fat infiltration and the flavour is very good.

It is produced in the region of Extremadura, in the province of Badajoz. This area of Spain is one of the best breeding areas for Iberian pigs.

This region has a strong tradition in the breeding of Iberian pigs, the best Iberian pig breeds are bred here. It has one of the best ecosystems of holm oak forests.

The animals eat a large amount of acorns throughout the day. This gives exceptional acorn-fed hams.
 
Each piece is controlled and has the official black seal that guarantees the quality of the ham.
